Dealing with Sex Offenders in Scotland
A study, undertaken for Lady Cosgrove's Expert Panel on Sex Offenders in Scotland, which examined how
the various agencies involved in the treatment and care of sex offenders work together, how information is shared and used. The study involved interviews with representatives of all the relevant agencies involved in dealing with sex offenders
- in the criminal justice process, healthcare, voluntary sector and social care. The outcome was a report recommending how information between the agencies could be used better, offering a more seamless service, with fewer opportunities for
offenders to slip through the net of care and containment. Contract value: £10,000 - £24,999 Completed: 1999 Publication: Internal report to The Scottish Office
