Learning Web - using the Internet to provide access to learning

Project undertaken for Falkirk College and Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley to research the needs for a learning web network, and subsequently to develop and support the Learning Web. The system developed for the College provides on-line access to the training available to students, and for some of the courses, provided access to the learning materials and tutor support. The project was one of the first in Scotland to offer on-line access, and stemmed from an interest in the petrochemical industry to share their access to specialised learning resources for their staff.
