Outsourcing IT Services
A consultancy project to assist Southwark Council in its outsourcing of ICT services. The project, which took place over the space of a year, involved assisting Southwark in the formulation of a partnership approach to their ICT outsoucing, writing the service specifications, based on research with the various service departments of the Council, assistance in the supplier sifting and selection, and drafting of evaluation criteria.
The project provided a good example of the negotiated procurement approach under EC procurement legislation, as well as providing a generic specification framework for ICT outsourcing contracts.
