Bourbon Project - use of broadband by business
A European-funded project to develop, on a pilot basis, islands of broadband access for the business community, and to examine through action research, the benefits which businesses can achieve as a result. The project was extemely large - involving over 27 partners in several European countries, and is one of the largest funded by the European Commission under its ACTS programme. Lambda was responsible for managing the Scottish involvement in the project, and for undertaking the detailed research and development work in Scotland.
Lambda was responsible for preparing the funding bid for this project -confirming Lambda's place as the leading Highlands company for European funding bids.
